How to make Amangiri Pancake

Simple things that you most likely already have in your kitchen are required for the recipe. You’ll require

Dry Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 2 ounces (secret ingredient)

First, make sure you don’t mix all the ingredients in one bowl right away. You’ll need a separate bowl for your wet ingredients and another for your dry ingredients. 

Secondly, this is a skillet pancake, which means it’s cooked in the oven. To achieve the best results, preheat your oven to 450 degrees and warm up your skillets in the oven before pouring the pancake batter into the skillets.

1: Prepare The Dry Mixture

Let’s start by mixing the dry ingredients. In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Give it a little stir to ensure even distribution. This step is crucial for perfectly risen and fluffy pancakes.

2: Prepare The Wet Mixture

Next, we’ll move on to the wet ingredients. It’s as simple as whisking together eggs and buttermilk. The buttermilk adds a tangy flavor that takes these pancakes to the next level. 

3: Add Secret Ingredient to Wet Mixture

So guys the secret ingredient to the Amangiri pancake is Mexican Coke. It adds perfect carbonation and sweetness. Add two ounces of Mexican Coke to the wet ingredients and gently mix it all together. Remember not to overmix the batter; a few lumps are perfectly fine.

4: Combine Both Dry and Wet Mixtures
