Everybody loves sweets to satisfy your sweet cravings today I am going to share a healthy homemade protein balls recipe with you all. Protein balls go by many names, including energy bites and just “balls”. Regardless of what you call them, they are one of the best snacks to have on hand for healthy snacking.

While some people prefer store-bought protein bars, I enjoy making homemade protein balls because I have control over the ingredients and they are more affordable. Additionally, coming up with different flavor combinations is a fun experience!

Protein balls can be a good snack option for those looking to increase their protein intake in a healthy way. They typically contain ingredients such as nuts, seeds, protein powder, and natural sweeteners, which can provide a good source of protein, fiber, healthy fats, and vitamins and minerals.

How To Make Protein Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter (120 ml)
  • 1/4 cup Maple syrup (60 ml)
  • 1/2 cup Almond / Oat flour
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened cocoa powder or Chocolate Flavoured Protein Powder

Topping:

  • 1/3 cup Crushed peanuts

Instructions:

Step 1: In a bowl add 1/2 cup peanut butter, add 1/2 cup almond flour or oat flour, add unsweetened cocoa powder or Chocolate Flavoured Protein Powder, add 1/4 cup maple syrup for sweetness and mix all the ingredients together.

Step 2: Roll the mixture and make small balls with your hands.
